Three episodes, Monday to Wednesday, with the streaming drop running twelve hours ahead of the E4 broadcast. The other three soaps for the same days are in which soaps are on which nights.
The gist: Hollyoaks has three new episodes a week, Monday to Wednesday. Listings put each one on Channel 4's streaming service at 7am and on E4 at 7pm. From Thursday to Sunday there's nothing new.
What time is Hollyoaks on E4?
7pm to 7.30pm, Monday to Wednesday. TV Guide UK lists the E4 showings at 7pm and marks them as new, and each one fills a half-hour slot with adverts included.
One honest caveat. Channel 4's own Hollyoaks page gives the day an episode arrives but doesn't print a time, so the 7am and 7pm times here come from listings (TVmaze and TV Guide UK), which agree with each other.
E4 also repeats recent episodes early in the morning, which can confuse a quick glance at the listings. Those are older episodes, not new ones, and the episode number in the listing is the easiest way to tell them apart.
When does Hollyoaks come out on Channel 4 streaming?
First thing on the day. TVmaze lists each new episode on Channel 4's streaming service at 07:00, and when we checked on a Monday in September 2026, Channel 4's page was already pointing ahead to Tuesday's episode by breakfast.
That streaming-first approach isn't new. Channel 4 moved Hollyoaks to three new episodes a week in 2024 and has billed its streaming service as the place to watch first ever since.
Is there a Hollyoaks omnibus?
Yes. Channel 4's streaming service has a Hollyoaks Omnibus collection, including a signed version, which rolls the week's episodes into one.
On television, Channel 4's guide lists the Hollyoaks Omnibus on E4 at 6am on Sunday, running to 7.10am; it was there on 27 September and is listed again for 4 October. That is an early start, so the streaming collection is still the easiest way to catch three episodes in one sitting at the weekend.
Can I watch Hollyoaks on YouTube?
You can watch full episodes on the official channel, but not new ones. We compared upload dates with air dates in September 2026, and the gap was large.
On 10 September the channel posted the full episode from Wednesday 2 September, eight days after it first streamed. A day later it posted an omnibus covering 29 June to 1 July, around ten weeks behind.
So YouTube suits catching up on old storylines, or introducing a friend to the village, not keeping up. For that, it's Channel 4 at 7am or E4 at 7pm.
How do I plan a Hollyoaks week?
Treat it as a Monday-to-Wednesday show with a four-day gap, which makes it the lightest of the four soaps to keep up with. Thursday to Sunday is catch-up time.

Who are Hollyoaks' long-running characters?
Channel 4's programme page leads with five long-serving names: Nick Pickard as Tony Hutchinson, Jennifer Metcalfe as Mercedes McQueen, Anna Passey as Sienna Blake, Kieron Richardson as Ste Hay and Ashley Taylor Dawson as Darren Osborne.
Hollyoaks itself started on 23 October 1995, according to TVmaze, so between them these five cover most of its history. If you've drifted away, following one of those five is a reasonable way back in, and the YouTube channel's older uploads fill in the history.
