Bottom line: three episodes, two channels, 7.30pm to 9pm with no gap. All three were on streaming before breakfast. Hollyoaks is not part of tonight and that is the normal week, not a schedule change.

The handover is seamless on paper: EastEnders finishes at 8pm, Emmerdale starts at 8pm, Corrie takes over at 8.30pm, and the run ends at 9pm when ITV1 moves to Long Lost Family. Monday and Tuesday had the same 90 minutes; Wednesday was cut to 30, because the football took both ITV1 slots.
Is EastEnders on tonight?
Yes, 7.30pm to 8pm on BBC One, and episode 149 has been on iPlayer since 6am. The BBC's billing has Kat making a discovery, Oscar caught between his head and his heart, and the Brannings and Panesars coming together for Penny and Vinny.
Tonight also closes the soap's week. BBC One runs EastEnders Monday to Thursday, so there is no Friday episode and the next one lands at the start of next week. Are Emmerdale and Coronation Street back on ITV1 tonight?
They are, at 8pm and 8.30pm, in the slots the Carabao Cup took on Wednesday. Emmerdale's episode has Charles trying to comfort a grieving Nicola, Billy confronting Joe about the private funeral plans, and Kev making his opinion known.

Is Hollyoaks on tonight?
No. E4's 7pm slot tonight belongs to The Simpsons, and Channel 4's guide has no Hollyoaks anywhere on Thursday.
Nothing has been pulled. The soap moved to three nights, Monday to Wednesday, with each episode streaming on Channel 4 from 7am and reaching E4 at 7pm the same evening, plus a weekend omnibus. How far ahead can I watch tonight's episodes?
Thirteen and a half hours, for all three. EastEnders went up at 6am against a 7.30pm broadcast; Emmerdale and Corrie landed at 7am against 8pm and 8.30pm.

ITV1 has run 30-minute episodes at 8.30pm since January 2026, with Emmerdale ahead of it at 8pm.

They stay on ITVX, where they have been since 7am, so nothing is lost if you miss the television slot.
