Tomorrow's Soaps, Wednesday 16 September: EastEnders and Hollyoaks On, No Emmerdale or Corrie
Quick answer: Wednesday is a half night for soap fans. Hollyoaks and EastEnders are on as normal, but Emmerdale and Coronation Street are off because ITV1 has live Carabao Cup football from 7.30pm.
That leaves 50 minutes of soap between 7pm and 8pm, down from the usual two hours. The ITV pair are back on Thursday and no episode gets skipped.
Tuesday's episodes leave plenty hanging. BBC One billed Kat trying to make sense of what had happened, and Emmerdale had Sadie visibly shaken at the sight of Cain. Tuesday's full running order is in tonight's soap times.

BBC One's Wednesday schedule gives it one line: Vinny's 30th birthday party is derailed. The episode listing on TVmaze adds that Patrick asks Oscar for a favour.

What's on Hollyoaks tomorrow?
Channel 4's guide marks the 7pm E4 episode as new. According to the listing, Theresa is blown away by her daughter's singing, and a secret comes out that tears a family apart. It doesn't say which family.

Why are Emmerdale and Coronation Street not on tomorrow?
Football. ITV's own TV guide has Carabao Cup Live on ITV1 from 7.30pm to 10.25pm, covering Manchester United v Brighton in the third round. Kick-off is 8pm, right where Emmerdale would start.
ITVX won't have a 7am Wednesday drop either, because there's no episode to release. Hollyoaks isn't affected: E4 isn't carrying the match.
When are Emmerdale and Coronation Street back?
Thursday 17 September. ITV's guide lists Emmerdale episode 10659 at 8pm and Coronation Street episode 11944 at 8.30pm, carrying on from Tuesday's 10658 and 11943. So nothing is lost; the stories simply pause for a night.

Is EastEnders on Thursday as well?
Yes. EastEnders runs Monday to Thursday, so Thursday's 7.30pm episode closes its week. On Friday only Emmerdale and Corrie are on.
